On Tuesday, August 25th we finally came home! We had a six hour drive and were advised to stop every couple of hours and get Brooklyn out of her seat, so we did that and were very pleased that she loved being in the car. She did amazingly well for such a little girl and we couldn't have asked for a better car ride.
Once we arrived at home we found that our house was completely decorated! What a wonderful surprise! We weren't sure who had done this, but had a pretty good idea...I made a couple of phone calls and found out that Corey, Becky, Makayla & Conner had done the inside of our house and some things outside and then found out that some of the girls at work had done the outside. We were so overwhelmed and emotional to find the house like this. It was truly amazing and made our day so much more special!
Thanks so much to everyone who had a hand in decorating! We LOVED it!
Later on in the evening my family stopped by to visit Brooklyn and she was able to meet her Uncle Brady and soon to be Aunt Dana. She loved all the hugs and kisses and then we all passed out from the exausting week we had just had.
