July 13-17

This week has gone by so quickly, but at the same time it has been one of the longest weeks of our life! We have so much to do and so little time as all new parents do. We have talked often that we can't imagine what it would be like to have 9 months to wait for an adoption. We are filled with so much anticipation and just can't wait!

Currently we have received $1935 towards our Adoption through the generosity of family and friends. That is 48% of the goal we set and we know we can make the goal at the garage sale! We can't thank everyone enough! Although our Chip-In doesn't reflect that percentage we've had several people send a donation directly to us and we wanted to be sure to recognize their support as well! Again, we can't thank everyone enough.


As this week comes to an end we will be continuing to prepare for this new little one to join our family. We have made many decisions and know we will have many more to make in the next couple of weeks. We continue our conversations with our Birthmother daily and pray that she continues to be at peace with her decision. She is a very intelligent, brave and selfless woman whom we couldn't be more thankful for.
